Our weight management programme will facilitate you in setting and achieving your weight management goals. With support and encouragement to achieve positive behavioural change you will learn to manage your weight by combining exercise and nutrition.

The sport conditioning programme involves analysing your sport and using specific training methods to enhance your sporting performance.

  • Primarily gym based
  • May require sport specific test session

Advanced Sports Conditioning

Strength, Power, Speed.

While each programme is designed with our primary ethos at the centre, a secondary ethos is applied to serious athletes who are willing to go that extra step to improve performance. The advanced sports conditioning programmes cater for such clients. Educating, motivating and empowering them through the most modern performance enhancing training techniques.

Strength - Guide & educate each client through a series of courses of targeted exercises & routines to bring the athlete to the appropriate level of strength to improve overall performance.

Power - Guide & educate each client through upper and lower body conditioning, together with power inducing exercises to give the field sports athlete the power to leave their opponents behind.

Speed - Guide & educate each client through a series of the most modern training regimes & techniques to improve sprint speed and "off the mark" speed for field sports.

 

Core Development

Develop your abdominals, lower back and deep core muscles using the latest research based methods.

  • Choice of month programmes or session bundles
  • The core development programme can be used in conjunction with any other programme
  • Benefits will include:
  • Increased core stability
  • Increase abdominal and lower back strength
  • Decreased lower back pain

 

Teen Weight Management

Our teen weight management programme will facilitate you in setting and achieving your weight management goals through gym, home and outdoor based activities. With encouragement to achieve positive behavioural and lifestyle change you will learn to manage your weight by combining exercise and nutrition.

  • Personalised training sessions
  • Pre and post assessment*
  • Choice of month programmes or session bundles
  • Activities will be predominantly cardio-vascular

  • You will learn to effectively manage your own weight through combining exercise and nutrition

  • Decreased risk of developing a number of weight related illness’s in later life

Note:

To be eligible for training under the Teen Weight Management programme you must be at least 13 years of age. You may be requested to have a parent or guardian present at each training session.

 

Bodybuilding

Our bodybuilding programme is aimed predominantly at the recreational bodybuilder, i.e. any individual that wishes to increase his/her muscle mass/size and definition

  • Choice of month programmes or session bundles
  • Activities will primarily include resistance/weight training

 

Benefits will include:

  • Increased muscular strength and endurance
  • Hypertrophy, i.e. increase in muscle mass/ size
  • Increased metabolic functioning

Note: Programme pre-assessment takes place in the initial consultation/evaluation which is charged separately to your month package or session bundle.

    • Doctors’ clearance may be requested for any programme.

Nutrition

Nutritional information/ advice will be given with all weight management programmes, and when felt necessary with other programmes.
